Lead Statuses
This page describes lead statuses and how they impact lead pools, lead eligibility
Definition(s)
Lead Statusesdescribe the different ways of classifying leads in Campaignswith implications.
There are a few important tangential concepts related to lead statuses.
Assigned - means Leads that are in any ApprovedCaller (aka Fractional Rep)'s Lists.
The opposite of Assigned is simply, 'Not Assigned'.
Eligible - means Leads in any campaign that is not disqualified or in a cooldown period.
The current Lead Statusesare:
Dispositions, whether default or custom dispositions, must map to one of the 3 Lead Statuses.
Assigned
Leads that are in any ApprovedCaller (aka Fractional Rep)'s Lists are said to be assigned.
At the end of every business day (9PM EST), Cold Leads in lists are unassigned and returned back to Lead Pools. Nurture Leads remain assigned until the follow up time for the nurture lead passes.
Assigned ≠ Assignable
While leads in any lists are said to be assigned, that does not necessarily mean that all assigned leads are assignable!
Here's why:
Leadscan be uploaded to campaigns either by the Customer, or self-sourced by an ApprovedCaller (aka Fractional Rep).
Self-sourced leads are automatically added to a specified list that the Caller (aka Fractional Rep)chooses when they add the lead(s). Therefore, by definition, these leads are technically Assigned
However, it is our policy that Self-sourced leads are leads that the caller who added the leads alone can work.
Therefore, these leads may be Assigned, but they may not be (re)-Assignable!
Eligible
Leads are considered 'eligible', or 'eligible for outreach', if they're not disqualified (one of the 3 Lead Statuses), and they're not in a cooldown period.
When Pulling Leads from the Lead Pool, only Eligible, un-Assignedleads are pulled.

The Possible Ways Lead Statuses get Updated
An ApprovedCaller (aka Fractional Rep)updates the latest disposition on a lead after a call.
Since all Dispositions map to Lead Statuses, the lead's status can update if the latest disposition maps to a status that's different from the lead's current status.
A Customer manually marks an Accountsor Contacts as "Do Not Call" from their platform
If the lead's status is not already disqualified, this would update the lead status.
A Customer uploads Suppressionsthat get matched to Leadsin the campaign based on email domain or phone number
If the lead's status is not already disqualified, this would update the lead status.
A Customer sets upstream rules via CRM Integrations to update leads in the campaign as disqualified
If the lead's status is not already disqualified, this would update the lead status.
