Self-Sourcing for Callers
Some campaigns allow self-sourcing, while others don't allow it.
Self-sourcing refers to approved Callers on campaigns uploading their own list of leads, either as a one-off lead, or in bulk via a CSV upload.
To check whether a campaign allows self-sourcing, try adding a one-off lead, and if the campaign doesn't allow it, you'll get an error notification.
Scenarios where Callers may want to self-source is if they don't particularly like the leads provided in the Lead Pool, or otherwise have a list of leads they'd like to outbound into for a campaign.
You can do this in one of two ways:
Add a one-off lead
Bulk import a list of leads from a csv file into the campaign

If you source your own leads, they are yours and yours alone to work, as long as they are not already in the lead pool.
Open up the Account Details from any lead in your dialer:

Click the blue "Add" option in "Other Leads" from the Account Details page:

Fill out the information and press "save".

Learn about Find More Leads.
From your main lists view (user.glencoco.com/lists), you'll see a button called "Add Leads", with the option to add a one-off lead ("New Lead"), or bulk import leads via CSV ("Import Leads").
Select "New Lead" to add a one-off lead for an account that's not in your Lists.

You'll be prompted to fill out contact information, and specify the campaign and list that you want to add the lead to:
Account Name (Prospect's company name)
First Name (required)
Last Name (required)
Title (required)
Phone Number (required)
Mobile Number (optional)
Work Email (required)
Linkedin URL (optional)
Our platform automatically associates contacts to existing accounts based on matching email domain. If you try to add a lead and it already exists in the campaign, the lead will be added to that account.

How to Bulk Import a List of Leads from a CSV file into a Campaign
From your main lists view (user.glencoco.com/lists), you'll see a button called "Add Leads", with the option to add a one-off lead ("New Lead"), or bulk import leads via CSV ("Import Leads").
Select "Import Leads" to bulk import leads via a CSV.

A sidebar will open where you can either download a CSV example template, or you can proceed to the next step by clicking the black "Start an import" button on the bottom right of the sidebar:

You'll then be prompted to specify the campaign, upload a CSV file, and then click "Next":

You'll then be prompted to specify a list you want to add these leads to.

At this point, our AI will automatically detect the columns in your CSV to save you time, but we strongly recommend you review the mappings and check your original CSV list before proceeding. A bad lead list import can result in you being unable to easily access or work those leads.
Our platform automatically checks bulk imports by users against a campaign's existing suppression lists, whether the leads are already being assigned to another Caller's list, and whether the matching contact or account has already been disqualified and prevent those leads from being uploaded.
We match contacts to existing accounts based on matching email domain.
If you try to add a lead and it is not ineligible but already exists in the campaign, we will simply refresh the contact and account details with the data from your latest upload and assign them to your list.
Special Note about Ownership/Reassignment of User Self-Sourced Bulk Imports
We don't reassign leads you bulk import away from you and to other Callers the way we do with leads from the lead pool with the following exceptions:
The company running the campaign has added the company to a suppression list in our platform (in this case, the platform will simply prevent that lead from being imported in the first place)
The lead you're trying to upload has already been disqualified or requested do-not call (in this case, the platform will simply prevent that lead from being imported in the first place)
Someone else active on the campaign is already working the lead (in this case, the platform will simply prevent that lead from being imported in the first place)
If you bulk import a list of leads, you'll see at the end of the upload a lead ingestion receipt, where you'll be able to see the drop-off if any of your leads match the above 3 scenarios, while leads that don't match the above scenarios will successfully be imported.
It's worth re-emphasizing that leads missing email addresses are not imported into the platform, in case you are curious why a bulk import of leads has resulted in so few leads being successfully uploaded.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why are my self-sourced leads being marked as DNC (Do Not Contact)?
Self-sourced leads may be marked as DNC if they are missing phone numbers. Phone numbers are required for processing and categorization. To avoid this, ensure that your leads include all necessary contact details before uploading.
If I source my own leads, do they belong to me or can other people see them?
If you upload your own leads, and they did not already exist in the Lead Pool for a campaign, they are yours to work and yours alone.
Does Glencoco provide a searchable database I can use to look for more leads?
Yes. Refer to the earlier "How to Search for and Add other Contacts for an existing Account in your Lists that may be relevant" in this doc for instructinos.
Where can I find my own leads outside of Glencoco?
We recommend LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo.io, Zoominfo, and *checks notes* thousands of other B2B lead database search tools available in the market.
