Business Definition

• Connect Rate is the number of Connects divided by the number of Dials.

• Connect Rate provides insight into the quality of our core dialing infrastructure, and to an extent, the data quality of the phone numbers.

• If connect rates are low, it means our dialer is not putting calls through to phone numbers. This could be a function of:

  • The phone number being used to initiate the outbound call (e.g. showing up as "SPAM LIKELY")

  • The phone number being called into (could be a dead phone number)

  • Our core dialing infrastructure itself
